Our story
Food made with intention
Lovett & Co was born from a simple belief, that great food has the power to bring people together, mark the moments that matter and leave a lasting impression. We've been doing exactly that across Melbourne since 2024.
The beginning
How it all began
At Lovett & Co, our story is built on family, culture, and community.
Founded in October 2024, Lovett & Co is a proud mother-and-son business led by proud Gunditjmara peoples' Aaren Tei Ona-Lovett & Dianne Attard-Lovett, who share a passion for bringing people together through food, creativity and meaningful connections.
What began as a shared vision has grown into a business dedicated to delivering exceptional catering experiences and engaging workshops that celebrate community, culture and collaboration. As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of creating welcoming spaces where people can connect, learn and share memorable experiences.
Our Indigenous heritage is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to honouring our Gunditjmara culture through the values of respect, storytelling, connection and community. These values guide the way we work with our clients, partners and the communities we serve.
Whether we're preparing beautifully curated catering for a special event or facilitating workshops that inspire learning and connection, our goal remains the same: to create experiences that leave a lasting impact.
At Lovett & Co, we're more than a business — we're a family sharing our passion, culture and creativity with every event and every person we meet.
Our principles
What we stand for
Family
Family is at the heart of everything we do. We treat every client, guest and team member like one of our own, because food is best when it's shared with the people who matter most.
Culture
Our Indigenous heritage shapes the way we cook, connect and care. We bring cultural pride and deep respect for Country into every event we cater.
Community
We believe in giving back and lifting others up. From the suppliers we choose to the events we serve, we're committed to strengthening the communities around us.
